Elevation Society is composed of young people who got tired of losing their friends to preventable deaths, suicides. Each day in our nation, there is an average of over 3,069 attempts to suicide by young people grades 9-12. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for young people. Furthermore, around 10 million American adults have seriously considered suicide.

Elevation Society is not looking to put a band-aid over a broken bone but working endlessly to create culture and lifestyle changes that will sustain necessary foundations to prevent suicides. They are leveraging innovation and human connection to stop this epidemic.

After years of collecting data and research Elevation formulated a strategy that focuses on early preventative measures and building communities that offer safe spaces. Elevation Society works to reach people before suicide becomes their only option. Elevation Society listens to the people who are affected the most, the ones who have attempted suicide or have lost loved ones, and brings them together to build and create solutions to help others.

Experts say a large percentage of suicides are impulsive, therefore Elevation Society takes a careful approach in meeting people exactly where they are. Elevation also works to simultaneously de-stigmatize the negative connotation that prevents people from seeking help.

The Elevation Society team will work endlessly until this world has no more suicides. Composed of determined young people who understand we can no longer afford to lose invaluable lives, they will forever fight to create effective life-saving change.
